Founded by Antonio Meze in 2011, the brand began its journey in Baia Mare, Romania. Driven by his love for music and design, Antonio’s quest for the perfect travel companion led him to experiment with unconventional materials, like wood, for crafting speaker enclosures—a departure from the standard plastics and polymers of the time.

The breakthrough came in 2015 with the launch of the Meze 99 Classics, a product born from meticulous in-house development and a successful Indiegogo campaign. The acclaim and numerous awards that followed catapulted Meze Audio into the audiophile spotlight, setting the stage for a series of innovative releases.
