Chord Electronics

Chord Electronics first took flight from the aviation world, where engineering without limits means uncompromising standards. Founded by John Franks in Kent, England, Chord Electronics is particularly known for its advanced digital-to-analog converters (DACs) and amplifiers, which are both technically advanced and musically engaging.  Since 1989, the company has been a tech-driven innovator, with several class-leading proprietary technologies in both analogue and digital designs.

Their first amplifiers were supplied to the BBC, followed by world-leading studios including Abbey Road, Sony Music (New York) and later, The Royal Opera House. Today, Chord continues to stand out for its award-winning technologies and studio-grade audio performance.
