ADS for closed-back headphones was developed in conjunction with the Atrium Open to bring the joy of owning a closed-back headphone that fully isolates, provides a satisfying sub-bass rumble and has the musical linearity for any content in your collection.

An acoustic attenuator is used with a variable radius (flat or curved) and at a specific distance from the driver. The space created here allows for greater perceived depth through both diffusion and driver placement. The Atrium (Closed) Damping System is comparable to an artist’s brush or a writer’s preference for an analog typewriter. The designer uses ADS as a tool to achieve the absolute best sound from each driver and headphone cabinet. The clarity, resolution, spaciousness and impact are the result of extensive measurements and listening tests to achieve an amazing headphone experience.
